Two Iran animated short films are to compete at 2018 In The Palace International Short Film Festival in Bulgaria.

'Light Sight' directed by Seyed Moslem Tabatabaei and 'Nobody' by Elham Toroqi are the two titles to play in completion at the Best Student Animation Category of the festival.

The story of ‘Light Sight’ is about a creature named M.E. who is enamored by a white light outside of its room.

The short flick has won several awards from international festivals such as the 14th Accolade Global Film Competition in the US.

The 9-minute animation 'Nobody' tells the story of a white cat trying hard to get food but no one seems bothered to give away.

The flick has, so far, won an award at the 2017 international animation festival ANIMANIMA.

Founded in 2003, In The Palace is a well known international festival dedicated to the promotion of short films, new media and digital arts.

The 15th edition of the festival is slated for June 23-30, 2018 in Bulgaria.
